Long time no see // 으.. 넘 오래 안썻네

I haven't updated anything for long time. Maybe I should. For the people who are curious if Jung is still alive, yes I am. I finished my masters and I'm looking for jobs :)

한동안 뜸했지만 앞으로 여기를 다시좀 써볼까 한다. 그렇다. 정군은 아직 살아있던 것이다.
석사 끝내고 요즘은 일 찾는中.

Finally.... I submitted my thesis. Well, now there is nothing I can do but wait. Haha.

드디어 논문을 내버렸다. 자 이제 기다리는 일만 남았는데. 머할꼬...

Finally, I arrived in ChCh safely after 24 hours of flying. I'm slowly recovering from the jet-lag. Adonai, Ben, Isabel, Hatta and others, thank you guys for everything and let's keep in touch :D Anyway, my exchange program is now finished.
I'll keep update this blog time to time so you guys can have a look what I'm doing.

I hope I keep in touch with all the people I met while I was in many different countries. See you guys later~ (maybe in MSN or icq xD)

24시간을 날아서 치치에 도착한 정후. -ㅅ-.. 컨디션 회복中. 드디어 교환학생 프로그램이 끝나고 돌아왔다. 아도나이, 벤, 이자벨, 하타 그리고 노팅험에서 만난 모든이들에게 감사를 표한다. 언젠간 다시 볼수 있기를. (뭐 적어도 엠에센에선 보겠지 ㅋㅋ)

Surviving in Paris! // 파리에서 살아남기!

Before going back to NZ, Jung decided to go to Paris. Well, I managed to survive 3 days somehow without speaking french LoL. Well, bless the Metro. Anway it was physically challenging to go to all the places I wanted in 3 days. I went to Arc de Triumpe, Eiffel tower, Chateau de Versailles, Notre Dame Cathedral, the Louvre museum, tomb of Napoleon and etc. Especially, Chateau de Versailles, the garden was .... so....*beep*... huge. It took bit more than 4hours of non-stop walking. The weather was burning hot I didn't eat lunch since I didn't have time. I wanted to go Notre Damn right after the versailles. Oh, I forgot to mention that the day before, I climbed the Eiffer tower and Arc de Triump. The accumulation of tiredness, gave me the finishing blow at the Louvre. The louvre, the biggiest museum I ever seen, was *beeping* humongous as well. It took 5 hours and half with no rest. Well, I spent avg 0.5 sec at each art pieces most of the time except very important ones like Mona-Lisa, the virgin of the Rocks etc (Let's solve the Davinchi Code!). Hmm, I skiped my lunch again to go to another museum just after the louvre. My body was screaming... Well, it was medieval war museum and I had to go. Haha.. and I managed to survive. Anyway, the trip was really really good! ( except the crappy hostel that I was staying ). I waited until 11 to take the picture of the Eiffer tower flashing. The tower flashes for 10 min at every hour. The problem is that it doesn't get dark until 10:30.... Well, I guess it was worth it.


뉴질로 돌아가기전에 파리를 가기로 결심한 신모군, 프랑스말 한마디도 못하면서 3일을 살아남아야한다는 사실과 직면하지 않으면 안된것이었다! 사실 느낀거지만 프랑스말 못해도 여행에는 지장없다. 메트로 만쉐! 사실 지금까지 가본 여행중에서 가장 힘들었다. 시간은 없고 갈곳은 너무 많아서 다 가보지는 못했지만 그래도 가고싶은곳은 거의다 가봤다. 개선문, 에펠타워, 베르사유 궁전, 노틸담 성당, 루브루 박물관, 나폴레옹 무덤 기타등등. 특별히 베르사유궁전은 그 정원이... 정말 G랄 같이 커서 돌아다니다가 죽는줄 알았다. 4시간을 쉬지않고 걸어서... 또 시간 아낀다고 점심까지 거르고 강행군.. 또 그 전날에 에펠타워와 개선문을 걸어올라간 피로 축적으로 완전 크리티칼 데미지가... 하지만 거기서 끝나지 않고 마지막날에는 루브르 박물관. 이 역시 G랄 같이 큰 박물관을 논스톱 5시간 반 걸려서 (점심 또 굶었다...) 대충? 훑어 봤다. 전시물 하나 평균 0.5초?의 초 스피드로 봤지만... OTL.. 물론 모나리자나 다빈치 그림들은 한동안 뚤어져라 보긴했다. 머가 좋아서 그리 비싼건지.. 아무튼 루브르 박물관 다보고 나와서 바로 전쟁 박물관에 또 갔다는 여담이... (쿨럭.) 아무튼 여러모로 즐거웠다 - 구질구질한 호스텔만 빼고 (笑). 사실 하루에 23유로씩 하면서 그 퀄리티는 뭐냔 말이냐?! 참고로 반짝이는 에펠타워 사진 찍을라고 11시 까지 기다리는 인내를 보인 신모군, 결과는 대 만족! (역자주 - 에펠타워는 해가지고 나서 매 정시에 10분동안 반짝인닷)
문제는 해가 10시 반에 진다는 사실이었다. (쿨럭)

Jung in Hollywood! // 할리우드 가다!

Hi guys. Somehow I happened to be in LA for a conference. Man, it is really a cool place. Good weather, nice people and lots of fun stuff. In the conference I made lot of new friends as well. I was glad that I went to the conference.
Hi Chen, Yuji, Maiko and people from Minami lab. If you are reading this, I'm sorry that I cannot write stuff in Japanese or Chinese. I'm way too lazy you know. Anyway, it was good. If you guys have a chance to go Venice beach in LA, please do so. Very very nice :D. The universal studio was fun too but expensive.

오랜만에 다시 글을 올리게되는 정君, 실은 컨퍼런스때문에 할리우드에 가게된것이었다. (두둥) 날씨도 좋고 사람들도 친절하고 무자게 좋은동네였다. 콘퍼런스에서 새로운 친구들도 사귀게되고 무척 즐거웠다. 아무튼 근처에 베니스 해변이라는 곳이 있는데, 정말 가볼만 하다. 유니버살 스투디오랑 (좀 비싸닷 -_-) , 베벌리 힐스도 가봤고 (솔직히 볼거 없다) 바빴지만 즐거웠던 정君 이었던 것이다.

Stonehenge // 스톤헨지

Well, it has been a week since I've been to London and the stonehenge. I was too lazy to post a pic. Anyway, the stonehenge was ok. It was just funny that there is nothing else apart from the stones and it cost more to go there ( train + bus fee ) then the addmission fee.

갔다온지는 좀 됬지만 더이상 게으름을 부리다간 사진을 전혀 못올릴거 같은 예감에 사진 하나를 올리게된 정후. 런던하고 스톤헨지를 갔다왔는데. 옆에 사진은 스톤헨지... 역시 돌밖에 없는 들판 (썰렁..) 아무튼 가는 비용이 입장료 보다 비싼 어이없는 사태가 발생하는것이다.
